identity essentials
I chose these images due to the fact that curves or round figures are what are most sought after in today's society. Curves are attractive to the eye and are seen everywhere for the pleasure of the viewer.

Photo Assignment
Jacqueline Muratorri --- Age: couple of months
Taken to hold onto cute and cuddly moments of the first born child. More than likely taken by my mother who was probably waiting for me to crawl. This photo will be shown and remembered throughout the years because of its sentimental value to the family. If I had a choice it would be burned who wants such an embarrassing photo of themselves out there for others to see. :P
No clue who these people are. I am guessing that it was a wedding photo that will be remembered and viewed by family and friends for years to come. No real emotional attachment just something I found.
Selene the Queen of Sheba
At least she thinks so. This was taken as an amusing photo for later use in the caption pictures I'm pretty sure her's would say "bow before me or face my Wrath" this glare is used often and has been nicknamed her "go to hell" face. Not really meant for anyone other then the people who know the cat and of course caption reading.

My experiments gave it wings :-) Despite the hardships of the paperclips not clipping/staying clipped. Once they were persuaded with the help of some hot glue my piece really came together. Paperclips really only want to do one thing and that is hanging but I was able to get them to form different shapes by stiffening the links that held them together. It was fun to make when I wasn't burning my finger ;D.
Word Image Final Finale
The final product of struggling and the opposite of straight. I think they came out pretty good. The boards were where I had the biggest problem they didn't seem to want to cut without tearing. Several new curse words were invented with just them in mind, but despite all that like I wrote before they came out pretty good.
Madness
Paperclips were used for my madness project because I knew I had plenty of them and the most important factor is that they were free. I was going use a simple net design but soon after hanging it I began to experiment with the different things the paper clip could do when used with a hot glue gun.
Let's see where it takes me from there.

Word Image
My first word image.
It originally started out as the opposite of happy however once it was put together it looked more like a struggling piece. So here is the Struggle. The paragraphs in background are going in the opposite direction making the struggle upwards more noticeable.

Cardboard Shell
The complete version of my cardboard shell. I really like how my ridges came out they remind greatly of the imperfections and natural look of a seashell. I should have added a piece of the paper cardboard stuff to loop over the hole thing to cover the hump then put the ridges on that, but alas I did not have any do so as this was my 3rd or 4th attempt. (4th attempt, went back to the 3rd design :).

CB progress report
After many attempts at finding the perfect way... yeah this way worked best. Sort of a layering swirl in a way with a cool ruffle effect to give me the essence of the shell. Gotta figure out how to keep it curved up to make the shell over curve.

Newspaper Narrative
My leaning tower of newspaper originally started out as the idea of folded pieces of paper intersecting as a square like the building blocks that snapped together when creating log cabins. however I discovered that when you put weight on top of it the structure would sink down more than I'd thought. I decided to the fold the paper and stack them with thicker pieces of paper stuck between every couple of the flatter pieces to hopefully hold the weight of the block and staying stable at the same time. I am obviously not an engineer because all I succeeded in doing was creating a slinky effect when it fell over, however it still squished down enough to hold the block. Out of it all if I could make another I would add some sort of support on each to sides to help keep it from falling.
